Yes, a new post in less than a year's time! Exciting isn't it? Sure is considering this site has been dead for years. So why bother posting anything at all? Well probably because the domain name still points here. And SZ is on a dedicated server, although it's mainly just a cover-up for big evil web experiments happening in the background.

The "SZOS" (renamed) project is still being worked on, and there was yet another big delay as summer hit and someone wanted to have a life. Also, IE8 Slow JavaScript performance took a dump on the project (the browser this was mainly to support) which put a hold on things, but after a few discussions, we proceeded to work without IE8 in mind. Turns out that Chrome runs everything the best, although we're not making it the primary platform. We've moved from a single platform to multi-platform which added MORE work, but in the end it'll be worth it. It's even Mac and PC compatible.

We'd like to share more details, but still (again) we're hoping to get up a working close-to public release demo before showing what we have. We want to be close to completion before someone else had the chance to rip off code and use it in a production "web app" before we do. That'd just ruin our day. We're also filing for a patent for this as well, so we'll see what happens.
